The Writers: An Interactive Performance (collaboration)

2019

The Writers is a segment of the Transcultural Collaboration live performance at Hart Haus, Hong Kong. With live projections on surrounding walls set up by hidden cameras, the performers/writers covertly study the audience/readers as they put down handwritten text and calligraphy on paper, constructing narratives of the live audience without their acknowledgement.  The installation displaces the performer and audience, writer and reader. Surveillance weaves the writer and the reader, the writing and the reading, the subject and the object.

To Dream (in Blue) (collaboration)

2019

To Dream is an invitation from the collective Boudai12, who are inspired by the spirit of a social movement and have developed their structure and creative strategies with the same fluidity, to follow their journey through traces of their search in Hong Kong. The installation at Kaskadenhalle of Zurich University of the Arts includes an original film screening and live performances to directly engage with the audience.

Falling leaves crumbling leaves (collaboration)

2019

Falling leaves crumbling leaves is part of the collaborative work What’s Next, a live performance and installation piece which took place at Ming Contemporary Art Museum in Shanghai in the fall of 2019. Situated in a once abandoned space, What’s Next plays with the poetics and aesthetics of a modern setting that presents a contemplation on the condition of human beings, how methods of communication evolve through different times as well as how information intertwines and reshapes itself in time.
