Ball 25 cm diamter, table 55x147x147 cm&nbsp;A seemingly familiar game, Chess III carves Chinese chess pieces into a rolling ball, stamping the pictographic characters in a void. Reversed characters symbolise social roles whereas colours represent divided identities. a found object of an old drawing of pastel on paper, a new print of oil on xuan paper size 200x300cm In an experimental solo show centered on the installation work of My World (2023), the audience unknowingly steps into a space where the floor serves as a matrix, activating a unique print-making process. Before the show opens, the artist applies oil color and places xuan paper onto a hidden relief beneath the parquet installation. After the show closes, the artist collects the printed work underneath the floor area. This process is repeated several times over the course of four weeks. The project reflects the artist’s innocent childhood imitation of a sunny day picture, created years before learning the historical context of Seurat’s classic work, suggesting a gap between art contexts and the absence of physical experience with a familiar work of art. a found object of an old drawing of pastel on paper, a new print of oil on xuan paper size 200x300cm My World Revealed (2023) opens up the parquet flooring, a relief print machine in disguise, and presents the result of three large prints from the installation and performative experiment of My World (2023). Over four weeks, exhibition visitors unknowingly stepped on the parquet flooring installation and helped complete the printing on size 200x300cm papers. Oil colours were applied before the show and the prints were collected after.
